My Charge 5 will not charge. The screen on the phone says 17%, in a yellow outline of a battery, then another outline that is blinking. Clened sensors , I have changed plugs, still nothing.

Hi there, @626RJP. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 5 is not charging properly. I appreciate you've taken the time to try to troubleshoot the issue prior to posting here, I'll be glad to continue assisting you. 

In addition to cleaning the charging port and changing the plug and outlet, please confirm if you've tried all tips and recommendations provided here Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?

Hi. this is the update:

for some unforseen reason the fitbit decided to start charging when I went to an entirely different room and outlet. Not sure if the magnetics were. not connecting right or not but it did complete charged to 100%. I thank you for the response Hopefully I will not need it in the future charging.     Many respects 626RJP
