My charge 5 just went black screen randomly while walking, I know it had about 60% charge at the time. I thought it died so I put it on the charger for a day and nothing happened. Went on YouTube to see how to reset it, and it didn't work. Came on here and checked all the help pages and tried what I could and no matter how many times I changed plugs, power bricks or even now plugged into my laptop, it will not come out of the black screen now no matter how many times I press the button. I have been trying to reset it since Friday and it's Tuesday morning now with no luck other then it getting supper hot every time I press the button 3 times.

Sad to hear that your Charge 5 isn't working as expected. Thanks for having taken your time trying to get things fixed by yourself.

As you have reported your Charge 5's battery getting hot while trying to reset your device, I'd like mention that there most likely is an issue with the battery itself. Please stop trying to charge your device, and contact the Support team for further assistance:
