I am unable to pair my charge 5 with my Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max iOS 18.3.1
It gets to the point where it asks for the four digits, the charge 5 displays the four digits, which I enter into the Apple iPhone And then it starts to pair but then comes up with the error “oops something went wrong”.
I have tried everything, restarting the phone, restarting the charge 5, turning Bluetooth on and off. The charge 5 Connects to Bluetooth, but will not connect in the Fitbit app. I remove it from Bluetooth and try again and it still will not connect through the Fitbit app. I have deleted the app and reinstalled it several times.

Thank you so much for letting us know that your Charge 5s cannot be paired with the Fitbit app and for all your efforts.
Have you already checked if you can update the Fitbit app? Is it possible for you to try setting up your Charge 5 with a different phone/ tablet?
Even though you've already tried some of these steps, the order is very important:
