I had the original Charge for several years. No problems except for the band peeling. Then the Charge 2 and 3 for several more. Again, no problems. The Charge 5 lasted 14 months! Terrible app reduce and constant issues. Charged on Friday to 100%, dead on Saturday. Charged it again and noticed it was very hot. Same charging method as previously done. Now reboots constantly. I just earned my 9 year badge. I think it’s safe to say I won’t make it to 10. No idea where I’m headed, but it won’t be Google or Fitbit.

Mine lasted exactly 14 months too. It suddenly stopped charging on 7/26. The life span on these devices has shrunk each time I've gotten a new one. My last two were bought at a slight discount due to the previous one failing.
Customer service is a joke. I still haven't received any real response. I use my watch every day for work, so frustrating not to have a functioning one.
I've heard good things about the other G watch. Sounds like they might be worth the investment.

Mine lasted 10 months. Got a replacement that didn't last 2 months. Still waiting to hear from them.
