My Fitbit Charge 5 will not hold a charge.  I have tried a reset several times.  What do I do?

Have tried all this restarts etc.
My Charge 5 was working fine. holding a charge for 5 to 6 days no problem.
Then "overnight' the battery died and now it will only hold a charge for 5 to 6 HOURs.

T-Mobile offered me a free galaxy watch when I upgraded my phone. The cost of the data line is less than a new fitbit. They lost me as a customer.

Took too long for CS to respond to my issues and I didn't feel like giving this company anymore money

Same happened to mine - I got 3 hrs max on a battery out of nowhere. Once I realized FitBit could care less of the issues I jumped ship.

I've got a birthday coming up and my family is looking for gift ideas.  Hmmm what do I recommend? 🤔

My Charge 5 dies as soon as I take it off the Charging cable. Customer service didnt help. Tried everything. 50% off purchase of a new one is an insult. How can we push to get the updated firmware? Mine is not the newest. Would like to at least try that since it is a worthless device now. I was fine too until I migrated my account over to my Gmail account. Can I go back to my old email? This is ridiculously annoying and unacceptable. GOOGLE what have you done??? 😞

I did the same thing;
My Fitbit Charge 5 charges to 99% I disconnect from charger and fitbit charge 5 is not operational. I put back to charger a few minutes later and shows charge at 1% full charge. Why is this happening and what can be done? This is the second fit bit charge that I owned and seems to last for only 2 years.
