Firmware and app is up to date. My device won't hold a charge more than a few hrs - literally charge up to 100% and then within a few hrs it's dead - this has happened 4 times now in the last 2 days so pretty much making it unusable.
This is sudden so not battery degradation - until this week I could go 5 days minimum without charging. There's not been any real changes in what I do and I don't have much in the way of constant notices etc Support asked me to do a 3 pulse reset and that hasn't helped at all.
Any advice?

If they are selling a watch that only lasts a year they should price it accordingly. Don’t you think?

It’s all about trust. If they can’t stand behind their product they shouldn’t offer it for sale. It’s that simple. Google has become a cheap ripoff artist.

Mine did the exact same thing last week.
Fitbit told me that it is not a known problem and that, since the warranty was up in October, they would not replace or offer a discount a new one.

Same with me though mine lasted for about 2 years (i think) or maybe less.
I've got the standard reply (below). For those thinking to buy one, DO NOT BUY! I will tell all my friends to stay away from Fitbit. This product is dead.
"Thanks for the details. Fitbit made sure all possible troubleshooting steps are put into consideration as a diagnosis. Since the issue still persist even with all the steps. Your Fitbit has been deemed defective. You can recycle it through any local electronics recycling program near your area."
