I have just got a new Android phone and am unable to pair my Charge 5 with it, though oddly, it is still able to sync. However the app tells me it will sync better if the fitbit is paired with the phone. I read in a very old thread that you have to unpair the fitbit from the old phone. However, my old phone crashed and I can't restart it so it's completely turned off, the charge 5 can't be trying to communicate with it and I have no way to unpair it.
When I go into the bluetooth screen to see available devices, the Charge 5 does not show up. When I try to pair through the app, it has failed multiple times.
Any suggestions? Thanks.
Never mind - I found a solution in another thread. I would delete this question except that I can't.
