Charge 5 won't pair

Recently my charge 5 won't pair with my iPhone or my tablet. I have tried resetting the charge 5, I have closed and opened Bluetooth many times on the iPhone and the tablet to try and recognize the charge 5 -it does not appear, and I have removed the apps from my iPhone and from my tablet and reinstalled. On every occasion I've tried the charge 5 generates the four digit code which I then proceed to type into the device I want to connect to, but I always get the message that something went wrong please try again. I have tried multiple times.

Sorry to see you're having issues pairing your Charge 5 with your iPhone and tablet.

I checked & confirmed that there isn't currently a server outage, like earlier this week, which caused a similar problem.

Although I'm not sure that this will work, you could try is clearing the storage for the Fitbit app on your iPhone & tablet. This will clear the cache & data for the Fitbit app on your devices. You will need to log back into the app after you clear the storage. This might clear out whatever is preventing the pairing process.
