Charge 5 dying, Rebooted 5x and now flashing stats, bright screen, then dies. Replacement?

Sad to hear that your Charge 5 isn't working as expected. Thanks for having tried to get things fixed by yourself.
Considering the fact that restarting your device several times didn't have any positive impact, I'd suggest contacting Fitbit support for further assistance:
