Charge 5 still blank tried changing USB adaptor as told by customer support ..no use .now that its disconnected I cant even pair it with the app as the pairing number doesn't come up on the blank screen .duh! Am gonna find the highest cliff in Ireland and chuck my charge 5 off it !

This is my second Fitbit in just over two years. In my experience they seem to last approx 14months before going wrong. My most recent Charge 5 suddenly went from working great and having to charge every 4-5 days, to complete battery discharge in less than two hours. Have done everything as advised and nothing improved. Installed latest update and now it won’t even turn on and, more worryingly, it now overheats when I put it onto charge. Am now looking for an alternative that will actually last longer than 18mths!

This is also my experience- 12 to 14 months and it dies. Done with them

Hey so I got onto customer service chat and I'm sending out my defective one hopefully get a brand new one in exchange.....fingers crossed
