Charge 5 won't stay connected to my phone's Bluetooth

Called Fitbit Support to learn how to generate Recovery Codes. Fitbit is having server errors.

Went to open the app and it says it is not linked to my Charge 5. Under Bluetooth Pairing and Linking, it just keeps saying, "There was an error while trying to bluetooth pair to your device. Would you like to try again?" I click the [ Try again ] button. Groundhog Day.

Maria,

That was for a separate issue—Disabling 2FA is hosed due to Fitbit servers being flakey.

I haven't contacted Fitbit support about the lack of ability to sync due to Bluetooth and Linking not working... Should I?

Exactly like mine 😞  And it definitely is not syncing properly 😞 Might be looking for a new brand I think - my charge 5 is only 5 months old, and was sent as a warranty replacemnt when my Charge 4 died 😞

So ,what's the answer, I am having the same issue, how do you fit it and pair the charge 5 to Bluetooth, now it doesn't even show up, when Bluetooth searches.

😞 To get my bluetooth to find it, I have to shut bluetooth down, then restart the phone and my charge 5 - someone else suggested it, I tried it - but it only works for a little while - and still wont pair it 😞

I've read a few posts that mention the user had to turn Wi-Fi off, then on again to get their device to sync. It might be worth trying this to see if it helps with the sync issue.
