Charge 5 won't stay synced to my Android phone

Hello,

I got Charge 5 as a gift from my wife 3 months ago. It didn't sync with my Galaxy S20FE 5G. I tried everything to fix it and nothing worked. Than I read about this Bluetooth problem with Android 13 that is conventionally unsolvable and we need to wait for a direct fix from Fitbit. How much time will a wait for it? Many app updates dropped and still the same. You just dropped fix for Fold which is very niche phone. What about other Samsung flagships? It's my first Fitbit device and I feel really disappointed for that defective product.

Hi there, @aaaabbbccc. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Charge 5 before posting here.

While reading your post I was wondering if you use MobileTrack along with your Charge 5? If so, please know if you're an Android user, you can't use MobileTrack in addition to a Fitbit device. For more information about MobileTrack, see How do I use Fitbit MobileTrack?

If you have MobileTrack linked to your Fitbit account you'll need to remove it in order to set up the Fitbit device and get back on track. For instructions, see How do I set up my Fitbit device?

No I don't. I use many things in the proccess of finding the solution in many configurations.

First of all I can tell that tracker needs mostly over 50 tries to just pair with my phone, not even mentioning about syncing in real time in app after training or something. And I disconnected it in app few times to check something new, so I really tried many things before this post here, so "check your battery level" advices won't help.

Something is just wrong with Bluetooth connection and it's 100% software issue, cuz only your device is facing that problem with my phone. I gave up so thats my honest question: are you even planning to drop a fix for my phone or I just need to buy another band?
