My scrolling left/right doesn’t work anymore. Up and down works but now I can’t reach my alarm settings or start an exercise.
Any idea why?

Please restart your Fitbit device as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device? If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.

Restarted, and changed the clock. No change….still not possible to swipe left/right.
Changed back to original clock…still nothing.
