Charge 5 won't swipe left or right anymore

This morning the screen would only swipe up and down, not left or right.  Now not doing that so stuck on home screen.  Have tried the soft restart (3 presses of button with a second between) but no impact.  Any ideas?

Hi there, @Demelza1. It's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that the screen of your Charge 5 is still not swiping left nor right. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

If you haven't done so yet, please try the steps below:

  1. From the Today tab in the Fitbit app, tap the devices icon at the top-left corner.
  2. Tap your Fitbit device image. 
  3. Near the bottom of the page, tap Sync Now.

If the above doesn't work, please restart your Fitbit device once again as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device? Note: Restarting the device doesn’t delete any data. If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.

Hi



I'd already tried restarting using the button on the cable but have done it
again and it didn't work. Couldn't find the opportunity to restart my
device within the settings of the app - attached is a screen shot of what I
could see. I've changed the clock from 12 to 24 hours but that hasn't made
a difference - as I can't swipe the screen I can't get to any other
settings.



Any other thoughts?
