Charge 5 won't swipe up or down or right to left

I have tried many restarts on the charge 5..Uninstalls etc...the watch will not swipe up or down or left or right.  I am some what disappointed in a product that never works right after the 4 months.  

I would send it back but out of warranty period on Amazon.  

Any info would be appreciated..

I have since found I can charge thFitbit. BUT, battery is only holding charge for approximately 1 hour. This only happened this week.  Up to now had been working perfectly.  Very frustrated still. Can it be repaired?
