Charge 5 won't sync or connect to my phone's Bluetooth

Hello. Yesterday, my Charge 5 stopped syncing with my iPhone, and it hasn't reset the counts overnight. I have only been using the device for a few months. I have tried restarting my phone, turning Bluetooth off and back on, restarting the Fitbit, removing the Fitbit from my Bluetooth list (it won't come back), and removing it as a device within the Fitbit app. Now, it won't show up in the Fitbit app when I try to set it up as a new device. My phone is up to date with updates. Please let me know if there are any other steps I can take before buying a tracker from a different company.

Hi there, @charmax. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 5 is still not connecting to your phone. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

As our last resort, I'd recommend performing a factory reset on your Charge 5. Important: Take into consideration that a factory reset deletes any stored data, which includes all data that hasn't synced to your Fitbit account and your applications, alarms, etc.

With the above being said, please sync your Charge 5 and then, proceed with the steps below in the order listed:

  1. Swipe down from the clock screen to find the Settings app.
  2. On your Fitbit device, open the Settings app > Device Info > Clear User Data

You can follow the steps to set up the device after that How do I set up my Fit-bit device?

I have the same issues. Fitbit has been unable to hold a charge for several weeks, and keeps thinking its July 26.
