My Fitbit has carried over the steps from yesterday to today, and it says it has discontinued from Bluetooth, but now every-time I try to reconnect it, my charge 5 doesn’t come up when searching Bluetooth device's

The steps thing happened to me last weekend which I just assumed was due to time change from travelling. But the last 3 days I can't sync without doing a reset on the device itself and completely repairing.
