Charge 5 won't sync with iPhone SE

My Charge 5 will not sync with iPhone SE. I have been over all the troubleshooting a dozen times. It should be working AND DOES NOT.

 

I bought this watch for two things: to count steps and monitor sleep. Steps I get directly from the watch, sleep. I don't.

 

This was never a problem with Charge 4.

 

I would never recommend purchase of a Charge 5. $200 for a phone that does not deliver.

Is the operating system at least iOS 14 or 15?

Yes. It’s 15.7.
I have to delete the Fitbit app then reload it in order to sync. Ridiculous. And even that doesn’t always work.
Turning Bluetooth on and off rarely works either.

I know that the times my Charge 5 didn't sync (when EVERYONE was having issues), it was always in the morning and all I cold do was wait a few hours, and it would sync later in the day. If you wait, does it sync at some point in the day. Either way, you'll likely need to engage an actual Fitbit rep.

Why is this the best answer? Mine screws up every few days, CERY irritating to say the least! I check everything and nothing works except RESTARTING the Charger 5 in settings! There is definitely a problem with the Charger 5 syncing with  iPhone 13, yes I’ve rebooted my iPhone to find it hasn’t updated! The only thing that does work that I’ve found is Restarting the Charge 5! Please fix glitch! BTW I couldn’t start another string on this problem so I’m adding it here because they said the above was the best answer!

I RESTART my Charge 5 then everything works again with iPhone 13! I have to do this every few days! Happens all different times but when I charge the Charge5 it’s a definite! Won’t be recommending the charge 5 to friends, unless this glitch is fixed soon!
