Hi there, @wtucker956. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 5 is not syncing anymore. We're here to help you!

If the steps recommended by @RiekoC don't work, please try the steps below in the order listed:

  • Unpair your Fitbit device from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Fitbit device.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Fitbit device.
  • Once your Fitbit device is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again.

With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Charge 5 first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.

Hello @wtucker956

I moved your post from the Fitbit.com Dashboard forum to the Charge 5 product help forum since your issue is with your device, not the on-line dashboard.

This article has the recommended troubleshooting steps to try: Why won't my Fitbit sync? (<-- click link)

I sometimes have trouble syncing the watch too, but I find it usually is to do with the internet signal playing up at the time or something like that.

Also have the same issue as everyone here.

Tried on Android and also IOS, both did not work.
Something might be wrong with Fitbit with Google account.

Tried with Fitbit with Fitbit account, and finally able to sync and connect.
Someone from Google/Fitbit, please check that you guys have not broken anything.

This is so unacceptable.
