Charge 5 won't track floors

I am extremely disappointed that the stair count is not on the charge 5.  I would have not upgraded from the charge 2 if I had known this.   I strongly advise that this feature be included in an upgrade as it is a feature a lot of people counted on.

Bad decision by Fitbit tech staff.

Please note that  floors aren’t tracked on Charge 5, Luxe or any Inspire series devices. Although it is designed without floor feature, your device can track as many activities as other Fitbit devices does. HI. The developers/technicians need to understand that for a lot of people tracking the number of flights of stairs they do in the day and going for a walk is all that they are able to do or can afford to do. This is why I strongly urge Fitbit to upgrade all their products to include tracking stairs. I would not have upgraded to a Charge 5 if I had known this feature wasn’t included on it. For me it was money not well spent.

I agree with you!  I too am very disappointed that when I upgraded from Charge 4 to Charge 5, I found that it didn’t track flights of stairs. Wish there was a way for the Fitbit developers to add this feature on the Charge 5?
