I just got my new charge 5. Was excited about it, but just realized it’s not going tracking the floors I climb daily. That’s a really important feature to me. Is this feature just not available on the charge 5???

You hit the point here @Vicious , it appears that the greatest part of the users (and moderators as well) are focusing just on the lack of floor counting while the altimeter is a fundamental parameters for several exercises. That's why I didn't "upgrade" my Charge 4 to the newest Charge 5.

I have voted in the suggestion and I just want to stress that this is a gamechanger also for me. I've had each Charge since version one and this definitely puts me off from purchasing version 5. I've never had the problems some people mention here with the floors counting - yes, it may not be always 100% accurate and add (or fail to add) a floor or two, but broadly speaking to me the count of the floors with Charge 4 seems fairly accurate. And it's a feature I use a lot, as I do a lot of stair-climbing/hiking. Not including this feature in an upgrade of a device is ridiculous and very disappointing. Frankly, I don't need a brighter/colourful display, I prefer practical features like the altimeter.
