Charge 5 won't track my floors

How do you fix this problem? I guess I  never paid that much attention.

Hi @Oscar4450  there is no altimeter in the Charge 5 and Charge 6, so it can't recognize flights of stairs. There is no fix for this.

Fix it by not buying another Fitbit. I bought a Charge 4 on EBay. When it dies and it will sooner than it should. I will be leaving Fitbit after 7 years for good. Sad part is Google didn’t care. Since they bought customer service has tanked.

Hi @Dwitte any device purchased from eBay has no warranty. I hope your Charge 4 lasts a long time without any problems.

It will likely last around 1 1/2 years like my last Charge 4 I purchased on Ebay and about as long as the one directly from Fitbit. I have been able to document 17000 floors each of those years. And I paid around 1/2 the price from Fitbit.
