I was working out and utilizing my brand new charge 5. After the work out I noticed that none of my work out was logged and neither was my heart rate. At the beginning of the day my fit bit was at 50% and by 5pm it was completely dead. Which was odd since I have had a charge 4 for years and it wouldn’t die for days. After all this is noticed the lights on the back of the charge 5 were lighting up anymore, heart rate tracker wasn’t working, sleep recording not working and none of the functions the watch offers worked. Getting frustrated I deleted and reinstalled everything and restarted with the charging cord with no success. What kind of product is this that stops working and now my Fitbit dies within a day when it was advertised to last several days. I would like some assistance on this matter.

Hi, @Kimberlyrk2002, welcome to the community, can you please check the settings on your "Charge 5", from the clock face swipe down to & touch "settings">swipe up to heart rate & ensure the slider has not inadvertently been placed in the "off" position. It needs to be "on" to provide the data streams you require.
You mention battery drain, check out the GPS settings, you should avoid "Dynamic" & "Built-in" and use "Phone" for the same reasons you would have done on your "Charge 4"
I hope this helps but if you are still stuck please post here again.
Cheers

I would also check for firmware updates, and restart the Charge tracker.
