Charge 5 won't track my runs with GPS

My Charge 5 used to record the routes for my runs using in-built GPS or dynamic GPS but now will only record walking routes. Why is this?

I've tried re-starting the Charge 5, disconnecting and re-connecting the Charge 5 to by Fitbit App on my Samsung phone, checked the App settings to make sure that Location is on.

I don't know what else to try. Does anyone have any other suggestions? It seems strange that it can record walks but not runs!
