Charge 5 won't track my sleep times accurately

Okay, I've looked at previous posts but I can no longer reply to them so I'm starting a new topic on this.

At various stages since I have owned my CH5 (Jun 22 - replaced once AFTER 2 months due to battery draining problem!!!!) every so often it doesn't record my sleep accurately. Okay, last night it recorded I'd slept for a total of 4:42 hours! It started recording from 02:56am till 08:29am!!! WRONG! I went to sleep - probably about 12:15 and woke at about 08:MAYBE fall asleep, then stop recording mid-morning for an hour or so, then magically start again!!!!

What the heck is going on???

My charge 5 has been doing the same thing. It skips about 2 hours every night. Also it's not tracking my oxygen level at night. Those are the 2 things I bought the fitbit for.

Hello @Milo5712

Every now & then, my sleep log isn't properly tracked in the Fitbit app, but I'm not sure why it happens. At least, there's a way to correct it by editing my sleep log in the app. It often takes a while for the app to update my sleep log, sometimes an hour or so. Eventually, I see the updated sleep data, including stages & score, that my device tracked. I also learned that it's no big deal to delete a sleep log, if my sleep was recorded as more than a single log. Deleting a sleep log only deletes the time interval and not the tracked data in my Fitbit.

It recorded my meditation time as REM and light sleep! I bought it for sleep problems but it is not accurate. It often records awake time as light sleep!

laradu,

yes, my CH5 does the same thing - records awake time as light sleep; very annoying! Just because you are lying still, doesn't mean you are asleep! So I have to make the correct total to record in Samsung Health on my phone.
