Upon plugging into a charging port, the fitibit insignia flashes, goes away and no charge ensues?

Sad to hear that you're having an issue charging your Charge 5.

Same issue here - if you check the Charge 5 board you'll find dozens of threads and hundreds of replies from other folks experiencing the same issue. Very frustrating!
