Charge 5 won't turn on or charge

I’m putting this out there because I have actually already read through all of the previous posts and responses from and to people go have fitbits that either won’t charge or are not responsive. I have tried every single suggestion, from cleaning it to just letting it stay plugged in for a few hours. I actually left mine in overnight. It wouldn’t let me post on that same thread, so I’m putting this out there. What’s next?

Thank you for the efforts you already tried to solve the situation you are having.

Have you tried to restart your Charge 5? If not, you can try this out:

  • Connect your device to the charging cable. 
  • Press the button located on the flat end of the charger 3 times, pausing for 1 second between presses.
  • Then wait 10 seconds or until the Fitbit logo appears.
