Welcome to the Fibit community, @Treeka!

Sad to hear that you're having issues with your Charge 5. As a first step to get things fixed, please make sure that your device isn't in Water Lock mode. To do so, firmly double-tap the middle of the screen with your finger. If you don't see "Unlocked" appear on screen, try tapping harder as turning off this feature uses the accelerometer in your device instead of it's touch display, which takes more force to activate.

If your Charge 5 is not in Water Lock mode, I'd suggest trying to restart your device by closely following these instructions as timing is crucial for this procedure:

1.) Connect your Charge 5 to the charging cable which has to be connected to a reliable power source.
2.) Press the button located on the flat end of the charging cable 3 times within 8 seconds(!), holding each press for about 1 second(!).
3.) Wait around 10 seconds until the Fitbit logo appears on your device's display.

If this won't work for you on the first run, please give it another try.

I'll keep my fingers crossed

Hi @Treeka

In addition to @Talahthas suggestions, you can also try changing the clock face. Sometimes changing the clock face will fix the issue with the home screen not showing. If it works, you can change back to the clock face that you like. Click here for instructions on: How to Change Charge 5 clock face

Hopefully, one of these troubleshooting steps will fix your issue.
