It's working when I plugged in charge. but unplugged it's off.

Hi there, @BBDJHG. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 5 is not working unless it's connected to the charging cable. I understand how annoying this can be, I will do my best to help you with this!
If you haven't done so yet, I'd recommend restarting your Charge 5 by following these steps. 
If the issue persists, may I know if you've tried cleaning the contacts on your Charge 5? There are some issues that affect this, being which power source is used and how clean the contacts are and how well the charger is seated.
