I bought 2 new watchbands for my Charge 5 - I chose L in size. I have always had large before. My new watchbands arrived and they are really big and I have to have it in the last notch. Has something happened to the Fitbit sizes?

Hi, welcome to the Community forums, @Yve_ke.
Thank you for sharing that you've been experiencing this with the Charge 5 wristbands.
I've been comparing the sizes to some of the other devices that I have, but I don't see a difference in size, although the holes may be positioned a little differently. In this case, I do recommend that you get in touch with the Customer Support team for further assistance with this, so they can let you know if you can exchange for a different size.
Have a great day.

The wrist strap for the new charge 5 is not well designed for the smaller wrist. I have tried the small size strap and because the new design folds under the strap the excess is too long and does not comfortably fold round to the front of my wrist. Are Fitbit coming out with a smaller strap or could they also offer alternative fastenings?
I have not used the watch and will take it back because the strap is not fit for purpose and is uncomfortable to wear. The watch does not sit directly on my arm either so it won’t be accurate.

Are you using the strap it came with? I have small wrists also and couldn't get on with the default strap. I use one of the silicon straps with holes in and find that much more comfortable.

My L new white watchband is a lot longer than the blue one that came in the box. Can you please find me the email or phone number for Customer Support of Fitbit Australia? I cant find it anywhere and it was missing in the parcel that the watchband came in.

That phone number - is it a US one? It appears to be a didget too long. Is there a phone number for Australia?

Sorry, the page says Australia so I thought it would be correct.
I’ve heard that the Chat Support is the most effective, so how about trying that?
I used chat support for something overseas instead of phoning recently and it was quite effective and of course, free. You can also save the chat or take screenshots so you have a record of what you’re told.
You can also search for Support yourself by scrolling to the bottom of the page, choosing Help, choosing what kind of help you’re hoping for, then scrolling to the bottom and choosing your country or language. That’s what I did to try to help you.

I used the chat box and didn’t take screen shots but that would have been a good idea. They will contact me via email. I’ll keep everyone posted.

@RJ30, I bought one from the Fitbit website. One of these:

Thank you. Everyone who has replied has been so helpful.

Thanks to all those who replied about the strap size of the new Charge 5. I went back to the retailer where I purchased the Charge 5. They phoned Fitbit who unfortunately weren’t very helpful. However Amazon sell Charge 5 compatible wrist bands.

I actually think this is really bad. I bought two accessory watchbands online and they arrived in a parcel. They are too big. And on the paperwork there is no telephone no way to contact anyone. Eventually I found my way into this community support and finally sent an email and am now waiting. I feel sorry for people who are not computer savvy should they have problems with their purchase via Fitbit Australia. This has taken quite a bit of messing around on my part. I hope I have some success - I’ll be letting people know. Fingers crossed!!
