Left my Charge5 on the charger for a couple days, now won't sync and is stuck on August 30.  Fully charged, and connected to bluetooth.  What gives?

Hi, @kenempey , your Fitbit won’t update the time and date if it doesn’t sync.

I find the easiest way to force a sync is simply to log out of your Fitbit app and log back in again (be sure you know your user email connected to Fitbit and your password).  That often forces a sync.  Sometimes it can help to give it a restart just before logging out.

If neither of those quick steps works, then please have a look at this help article for troubleshooting a Fitbit that won’t sync, and carefully work through the steps.  Having said that, in my experience it is not helpful to remove a Fitbit that won’t sync from your account (one of the steps recommended in the article), because if it still won’t sync it then becomes impossible to re-connect it, so I personally would not recommend that.

Good luck and welcome to the forums!
