I was having the same problem that everyone else has. My Fitbit charger 5 was not communicating with the app and I was about to get rid of my charger 5 until I did the membership. My Fitbit charger 5 works perfectly now as long as I pay $9.99 a month. It may cost you $10 to try it but you’ll see that I am 100% correct and of course I canceled my membership. I’m not paying that, I’ll just go back to using my Apple Watch. The Apple Watch has gotten much better over the years. They cost a little bit more money but you don’t have to play these games you know of the Fitbit not working until you buy a membership! And of course Fitbit tells you everything under the sun, that it’s not them. It’s you not doing something right on your phone, now I figured it out you have to buy a subscription. Sadly it’s always about the almighty dollar for these companies! I’ve been using Fitbit for over 10 years and never once had a problem until now. But for anyone that doesn’t mind paying $10 a month have at it, just not me.
