Well the charger works... when it connects. My issue is with the design of the charger. It relies on the magnet which is so finnicky it doesnt stay on. Its such a faff trying to keep it on. What was wrong with the original fitbit charger design??

Hi, welcome to the Community forums, @Missylj77.

Thank you for your inquiry and your feedback regarding the charging cable.

As you mentioned earlier, the charger does work with a magnet, as most of the most recent models. I would recommend that you post this idea in the Product Feedback board of the Community, since this section is regularly monitored by the team of developers. Make sure to post your idea including as many details as possible.

It will not be possible to see any change with the currently charging cable for the Charge 5, but the feedback could be helpful for future models.
