Clock display first? Charge 5

Is there a way I can make my Charge 5 always show clock first when I tap the screen? Often times it shows zone minutes and then steps etc and I have to tap through the list before the clockface shows. This is very annoying. Most of the time, I only want to know the time…

Hi, it's good to see you visiting the community forums, @AndrenOlsson @GLM2U

I do see that whenever you tap on the screen to see your stats and the screen turns off, when you turn the screen back on you'll see the stat that you last checked, and it's not possible to permanently leave your steps or heart rate on the screen. You can try different clock faces to see if any of them will have a specific stat permanently on the first screen, but it's not currently possible to customize this information.

I would recommend that you vote for this idea posted in the Product Feedback board of the Community, since this section is regularly monitored by the team of developers: Able to customize order of apps/stats on Charge 5

Hi!

Thank you. OK, however I would like to be able to set which app to show as default. I'll go and vote for the post!

Sometimes a feel that companies like Fitbit forget that functionality comes before design.

I followed what DavideFitbit wrote. I selected the clock face and then let it time out. So far it's always come back to that screen. (This was a few tests, over a few minutes.)

So far, so good. I find that the screen easily moves to another so be careful not to inadvertantly change screens.

I did that too and seems to work, so far. However, I need to remember to always let it time out with the clock face. I agree the screen moves very easily. And as my Charge 3 screen is still in my fingers, I end up in all kinds of unwanted places...

No problem! Thanks for sharing these updates, @AndrenOlsson @GLM2U

I hope too that an option to customize the screen can be implemented in the future!

There are a few clock faces that only show stats, so if you change it, you can see the time. Hopefully that helps!
