Clock face only takes up about a quarter of the screen Charge 5

When I installed the new clock face aura, the clock face wouldn't center. instead, it would be on the top left corner.IMG_5636.jpg

@Cmah92 I see you had the same experience as I did. I also agreed to a replacement and it took 3 weeks to get it and like you same still! So ridiculous! My chat person said “they are aware of the problem and are trying to find a solution” 🙄

Meanwhile we twiddle our thumbs waiting …

I would have thought so too but it happens every night....but I have a new theory, it's timed somehow....I got up at 5am and standing looked at the Fitbit, the Aurua face was Fullscreen....

Are you sure they or didn’t appear as they because the lights were off?

@mchili Not yet as there is no precise information on the prioritization of things they are currently working on. But rest assured, the team is aware of this issue.

Just now, my Charge 5 told me that there was a clock error, so I went to reinstall Aura. Very strangely (given that this is DEFINITELY a hardware issue 😁), both Aura and Analogish are no longer available. How weird...

 

Meantime, because the Charge 5 is still in warranty, they are sending me a brand new one as "replacement". (Early anniversary present for the wife!) So that's another £150 or so that the corp is throwing away rather than paying a dev about that much to fix this minor irritation.

15 minutes ago  I got an unreadable, as in tiny, message where my aura clock face used to be.  Then my charge 5 "updated " and now Aura and analogesh aren't there any more. I wonder if Google pushed out an update to remove these clocks

Aura is now gone from my watch and gone from the discover gallery along with analogish.

Doubtful. I was offered yet ANOTHER replacement yesterday (they already issued me a replacement last month due to this issue). I told them not to bother as it wouldn't solve the issue as we have all been trying to tell them, and that perhaps they should be spending all this money they're wasting on unnecessary replacements on fixing the actual problem 🙄

I agree, and I already got a replacement for this problem and obviously it made no difference. NO ONE should agree to a replacement for this problem, and I guess they don't care if they have to keep sending out new ones (are they "new" or refurbished ones that they recycled ones?? we will never know). I don't think this is a priority at all and I read that they plan to come out with a Charge 6 in August of this year!!! Plus I believe a new Luxe.. just keep throwing out new devices that continue to have issues...

I agree c'mon Fitbit/Google - you announce it and then we all get excited and actually like it but you pull it because it wasn't tested!  A developer should be able to rectify this easily to work on Charge 5 correctly!
