Customer service an warranty

Today my charge 5 won't go off of a red circle with a white x on the screen. As soon as I call in to get some help I'm told it has to be replaced and to take a picture of the screen, email it to them and they will send another that i will get in 7 days. No troubleshooting nothing. I send in the picture and a few hours later I get an email saying I have to send it back first so they can check it then send me a new one and was repeatedly told this was not an inconvenience it's just how the warranty works when I was already told they would send a new one. Do yourselves a favor and just return it to the store you bought it from their warranty is horrible and their reps will lie about helping you.
