I have recently purchased a Charge 5 and it immediately required an update, which is fine. I noticed my 250 steps activity notifications would work for so long then stop working. Everytime I go into the app the notifications would always reset to no Account>Activity & Wellness>Daily Activity>Hourly Activity Goal>Reminders to Move. I can be in the app and slide the bar to Yes, click the home button, go back in to the settings and they would be turned off again. I read similar threads on here that suggested updating my phone software so I forced the IOS 16.4.1 (a) update (the latest one) and this has not fixed the issue. Whilst my 3 biggest concerns are getting to 10k steps, 22 zone minutes and drinking 2L water, I also work behind a desk and need the reminders to get up and move. Has anybody experienced this before or can someone from fitbit confirm if this issue is logged and being rectified? Rather annoying to a first time user that expected more given that my partner has had 3/4 fitbits over many years and never had a moments trouble.

Hi, it's good to see you visiting the community for the first time, @Charge5User2023.
Thank you for sharing that you've been having this issue with your Charge 5.
Let me know if you're having trouble to receive any other type of notifications or if this is happening only with the reminders to move. In the meantime, make sure this feature is turned on following these steps:
If the feature is already turned on, you can also try changing the time when you can receive reminders to move. You can change the hours or days of the week that you track your hourly activity goal (for example, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on weekdays). You can find more information in this article.
In the meantime, make sure the Do Not Disturb Mode and the Sleep Mode features are turned off, as these features prevent the device from vibrating and receiving notifications, reminders and goal celebrations.
In addition, could you please confirm if you already tried the three pulse restart using the charging cable? You can also try setting up the Charge 5 as a new device in your account if you're still having the same problem. Then repeat the restart procedure and set up notifications to check if they're working properly.

Thanks for your prompt reply @DavideFitbit
As a new user i'm not 100% what notifications I should be having to be honest. I get phonecalls, SMS, "keep going" alerts, congratulations/milestones alerts, etc. To be clear this issue with the hourly activity is frequent (daily) but not constant. It's almost like I have to reset my settings every morning to receive the alerts for the day ahead.Today>Hourly Active>Gear Icon>Reminders to Move on/off is set to on, but as stated above, the other way keeps resetting itself to off.I have also increased the times to remind from the standard 9 hours to 12 using the time markers. When I did the software update the app crashed and I ended up doing the 3 tap restart and removing the device and re-adding it to get it all back up and running again. Do you have anything else that I can try? Do you know if this is a common problem and isolated to IOS by any chance? Thanks

I am having the exact same problem. I purchased my Charge 5 about a month ago. After working normally for probably 2 weeks with activity reminders as expected, I realized I was no longer receiving the reminders. I have tried everything as suggested in the response to your post and no change. I’ve had FitBits for years and never a problem with the activity feature.
