So, is the web dashboard dead?
I want to look back at my steps from 2015, as I know I walked a huge amount in one day, but need to find the exact amount of steps to compare to steps done recently.

@Nessa77 Google deactivated the web dashboard in 2024. TBH, the web dashboard was much easier to navigate to find the information you want. Try this. Tap on your step tile and move the toggle to the Y for year. Navigate back by year with the small arrows to 2015. Now tap on M for month. It will help if you have an idea of the correct month. If this one day is really a lot more, then try the month with the highest step count.
I joined in 2013 and I have all my step data back to day 1.
If that day in 2015 was your personal best, then a there is a web back door to help you find it easily. Tap on your screen name on in your post to see your Community profile. Look for the blue Go to Fitbit. com profile. Tap on that You can find you personal best stats there.
