@SailorGraeme Click on this link to change for instructions on how to change the clock face on your Charge 5: How to change Charge 5 clock faces

These are the clock faces that use mmm/dd or dd/mmm date format:

  • Zones
  • Energy
  • Target
  • Ripple
  • Runliner (my personal favorite since it shows heart rate)
  • Slashed
  • Retro
  • Progessive
  • Hawaiian Pineapple
  • Triangulate
  • Split
  • Hexa
  • Retroflip
  • Cutout (dd/mmm)
  • Statposter (dd/mmm)

Hi, welcome to the Community forums, @SailorGraeme

Thank you for sharing this information about the date format on the Charge 5.

I've seen other users have mentioned that they experience this problem with the Continuum clock face . It seems that you always get an American date format (MM/DD) when you have an English speaking country or Europe as your location on the app settings, and if you select a non English speaking country, you're able to see the date format as (DD/MM). This information has been shared with the team and they're looking into it.

In the meantime, I recommend that you vote for the feature suggestion posted in the forums: Support DD/MM date format on Charge 5

As best as I can tell, none of the current Charge 5 clocks use UK/European date format dd/mm. The best option seems to be using one of clock face that has the date format as dd/mmm or mmm/dd.

Thanks for the suggestion.

How do I do that?

The US format is confusing so I'll consider any alternative.

I'm surprised Fitbit aren't thinking more globally

Graeme

Thanks. The steps to find the clock face option were a bit different but I found the section|.

I can only see 4 clock face options - Intersection, Progressive, Retro & Neoflip. I changed to Retro for a better display of date which updated OK but it's not very attractive. (see screenshot).

How do I find the others you refer to?

Graeme

@SailorGraeme Hmmm... The other clock options should show when you click on Gallery. Since you aren't seeing all the clock face options, there might be something else going on with your Charge 5. I think you might want to contact Fitbit support to see if they can help you.

Thanks - very helpful instructions which guided me to a large range of easily-installed Clock Face styles.

I agree with other comments that the option to display Date in non-USA format should be part of Settings and available on all Clock Faces.

I would also like to see the time displayed on a single line in (as large as possible) colourful fonts

Plenty of opportunities for further improvement!
