Hi, I have a question want to ask you all, what you think about an update and or app.

First of all I want to say that I have already been in contact with people at Fitbit they said that if the post on this forum has enough likes then this will be an update they will implement.

Back back to the idea: that in the menu on your Fittbit you can select lamp and then the entire screen will be white and maximum brightness? can also be like press once more for 50% 75% 100% brightness and SOS flashing. In my case it's a Charge 5 I have but i think it can certainly work on more models and is a useful feature in my opinion. Ideas, thoughts, comments?

Hi @FlashlightWrist  that's already been suggested - click to read and/or vote. As for me, I don't see the need for a flashlight on my Luxe. It would drain the battery so much faster and the smartwatches would drain even faster.

1)  I question if a Fitbit people actually said they would implement it if it got enough likes.  I expect more likely that the more people voted for it, the more likely they would consider it.  There are many considerations that go into getting a suggestion implemented besides the number of votes.

2)  Not a big value for me.  Most any situation where I would need such a light, I would have my phone with me.  And could you imagine the complaints from people accidentally turning this on during the night?  There are already many complaints from just the clock face turning on.  Sure, I know you would put it somewhere where you couldn't turn it on accidentally, but then you couldn't get it when you really needed it.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

1: perhaps a little over excited phrasing on my part. here is a direct excerpt from the email. (Here you can make a proposal for what you mention and if your proposal gets enough likes, it may happen that that proposal is developed and becomes a function.)

2: see and hear your answer and may not suit everyone. doubt that problem, never happened to me that i gon into an app like alarm and start a time. I often walk around when it's dark at night at home and i had needed some extra light but not start a ceiling light.

@FlashlightWristit's true that many suggestions have been adopted and put into action. It's just that many people would rather have a longer battery life than something that would drain it. Considering that suggestion has been made for many years without any real interest, it's doubtful it will become reality. I have to agree with what @JohnnyRow said.
