Hello,
I have been noticing a difference in the maximum heart rate on my Charge 5 and in the Fitbit app for quite some time now? See attached images of the results of a spin class.
Can someone explain to me how this is possible. The Charge 5 measures the maximum heart rate, 148 bpm, and after syncing I see in the Fitbit app that the maximum heart rate is 140 bpm. Where is this going wrong? And what is the correct value now?
I would also like to see the maximum heart rate in the spin class results. That request has been there for a long time, but has still not been realized.
There is a feature request in the Product Feedback forum to Bring back max heart rate value on logged exercise (<-- click link).

@Hendrik55 The max heart rate you see on your Fitbit exercise summary is a spot measurement. The heart rate in your daily heart rate graph shows an average heart rate over five minutes, so the peaks and valleys do get smoothed out. It looks like the zone minute graph records every 10 seconds. I estimated this by pressing and holding and dragging my finger along the graph. That is enough to smooth out data.
