Discrepency

My husband and went on a 14mi bike ride. My fitbit showed 2100 steps his showed 9000. Why thw difference?  I think mine was on outdoor bike setting.

Steps while bike riding are not real and do not indicate anything about exercise.  They just reflect vibrations passed through your wrist that fitbit interprets as steps.  Some would argue that if you use a bike setting, steps should be turned off.  Same type steps happen for some when driving, particularly on bumpy roads.  As for the difference between your husband and you, maybe one of you tended to ride on a bumpier part of the road, had a smoother bike, difference in weight, who knows.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
