Do I get 6 Month premium membership with Charge 5?

I purchased my Charge 5 on Walmart and the description says there is a free 6 month premium membership with the purchase. I tried to activate it in the app but it indicates that there is a 79.99 charge for this. When will I be able to utilize the free membership?

Thank you for sharing your inquiry about the Charge 5 and the Premium subscription

 

As you mentioned earlier, you do get a 6 month free subscription when purchasing the Charge 5 and you should be able to see a banner in the app offering your the 6 months. It should look something like this:

If you're still not seeing the offer, please try the following steps: 

 

  • Log out from the app.
  • Clear Cache and Cookies for the Fitbit app in your phone's settings.
  • Restart your phone.
  • Log back in to check if you're able to see the banner.
  • If you're still not seeing it, please try to uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit app on your phone.
