Does the Charge 5 show all app notifications from phone?

I am looking into getting a fitness tracker, and it's pretty much between the Charge 5 and the GW4 for me. It seems the Charge might be a bit better suited to my needs, but it doesn't have a water tracking feature or an hourly chime, and these are both big deals to me. If I got these apps on my phone, would the notifications come through on the fitbit, or am I limited to a selection of recognized/compatible apps, like social media? Extra question: if I get a water tracker with a requirement to confirm/dismiss or snooze the reminder, is that something that I would be able to do through the watch or would I have to open my phone every time?

The Charge 5 can receive phone, text, and calander notifications. Then we can choose up to 100 more apps to send their notifications to the charge 5. 

Depending on the phone, we can respond with short predefond messages. IOS is blocked by apple for this feature.
