Does the Charge 5 show any data while swimming?

Hello....Does the Charge 5 show lengths and other details while swimming in the pool?

I also looked at the product features before purchasing a charge 5. The literature is very misleading and deceptive. The reality is that you cannot see how many laps you have completed until you finish your swim and sync with your phone.

Even worse, the lap count is consistently inaccurate. I always swim an even number of laps, but the watch regularly shows that I completed an odd number of laps. 

I also swim 20 laps just kicking and it records that I completed one lap. 

The charge 5 is not the best choice for a swimmer.

This seems like blatant misinformation by Fitbit?

It's one thing to not have that feature, but the website shows they do and I just called into customer support who also verbally confirmed it shows lengths while swimming. But I think she was just reading off the webpage.

I bought a charge 5 specifically for this feature, luckily I haven't set it up yet so I think can still return it but this is unacceptable from Fitbit.

That's blatantly lying to customers!
