Don't want sleep mode on... ever.

Is there a way to permanently turn off sleep mode?  Having to tap twice on the face of the watch to see the time does more to wake me up than the watch lighting up when I roll over... with my eyes shut.  Also, I'm an early riser and having to manually turn off sleep mode every single morning when I get up is annoying.  I have no sleep schedule set in the device.  I used to, but when I read setting a schedule is how to turn on sleep mode, I thought deleting the schedule would keep sleep mode off.  I was wrong.  Any suggestions?

1) In Settings, make sure Sleep Mode is not still turned on, even without a schedule set.

2) In Quick Settings, make sure Sleep Mode is not turned on.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
