ECG feature when traveling to Mexico

If I have the ECG feature activated on my Charge 5, will it work when I travel to a country which does not have the feature available?  I spend a lot of time in Mexico and see that the ECG is not authorized there.

Thank you for sharing your inquiry about the ECG feature on the Charge 5. 

 

Unfortunately it would not work if you go to a country where the ECG feature is not yet authorized, since this option is restricted by location and it often requires the approval of certain agencies and institutions of each country before they can be activated for use. That's why this requirement can't be bypassed by changing the location on the Fitbit app. 

 

As you mentioned earlier, you can review this list periodically to check if the desired country has been added.
