Charge 5 ECG app will not sense my finger tips and continues to stuck on the prompt screen. The EDA scan however works fine with just a soft touch on both sides of the metal bars. Tried uninstalling the ECG app and device restart, still doesn’t help. Any ideas?

Try moistening your fingertips before taking a reading to see if it helps, moisture conducts better.

Hello @SunsetRunner and welcome to the Community.  I have a few thoughts.

  • In theory, calluses can affect readings.  Try using your thumb and a different finger than your index finger.
  • Have someone else try on their wrist.  If it doesn't work on someone else, then you probably have a defective device.  Contact Support
