EDA Scan isn't working on my Charge 5

So my charge 5 reads my steps, calories and distance. But says not connected to phone with EDA scan.  And checking my ECG, it gets down to like 22 seconds left and goes nuts!!!  I've restarted. Rebooted. Even set up another profile, but to no avail!!

Hi there, @JanieBug. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Charge 5 before reaching out. I understand how you must be feeling. 

If you received an error, try these tips:

• If your device can’t detect your EDA response, please keep your fingers on the sides of your tracker for at least 90 seconds and remain still to get a reading.
• If your device can’t detect your heart rate, try tightening your band. The band should be snug but not constricting. If you experience any discomfort, loosen the band, and if it persists give your wrist a break by taking it off.

Try moistening your fingertips before taking a reading, if your fingers are too dry, the sensor can't get a good reading.

Did the moistened fingertips work?

Unfortunately no... But the heart rate works for about a few minutes then
goes back off again.
