On my iPhone app health assessments shows ecg turned off, no switch anywhere to turn on, on tracker trying ecg reveals “error pls reopen the app” did all but no success

Hello @Saygin 

I think the error message is referring to the ECG app and not the Fitbit app.

The ECG app on your Charge 5 might have gotten uninstalled. To check:

  • Tap the device icon in the upper left of the Today page
  • Tap on the Charge 5 tile/icon
  • Tap on Gallery 
  • Tap on Apps
  • Scroll down to ECG and tap on it
  • If the ECG app not installed, you should be able to tap on it to install it. 

If the ECG app is already installed but not working, you might want to uninstall it, sync your Charge 5 with the Fitbit app, then go back and re-install it, followed by another sync between your device & the Fitbit app. Hopefully, this will get the ECG app working.

Hi @Saygin 

Thanks for letting us know that you already tried installing the ECG app without success.

I'm an Android user and am not sure if there's something more that iOS users need to do. Hopefully, another iOS user will be able to offer other troubleshooting steps.
